"O que existe para além das fronteiras?

O que existe para além do mar!?

Foram perguntas como estas que o Coletivo !EF (Primeiro esquerdo frente) teve como inspiração para produzir os trabalhos desta exposição que funcionará do dia 15 de Fevereiro de 2011 ao dia 01 de Março de 2011 na Casa da Horta.

A exposição conta com uma seleção de 14 obras que separa e mistura o que quatro estudantes e artistas brasileiros descobriram e viveram em um período de um ano de estudos na Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto. Neste um ano agregou-se aos estudos também algumas andanças e aventuras pela Europa e a experiência de morar na mesma casa, compartilhando aprendizados e influenciando um ao outro.

Os quatro estudantes, artistas, amigos e companheiros de casa são:Igor Dantas,Felipe Eugênio Aka Feu, Henrique Albuquerque e Rafa Eleutério."

Este é o texto que compõe o pequeno catálogo da Exposição do Coletivo !EF que terá sua inauguração no dia 15 deste mês

Como foi dito aí em cima faço parte desse coletivo \o/ e fiz esse post para mostrar um pouquinho do que fizemos aqui e o do que vai ter na Casa da Horta.

"What exists beyond the borders?
What could we found beyond the sea?
Questions like these that the Collective !EF (PrimeiroEsquerdoFrente) was inspired to produce works of this exhibition which will run starting in 15th February 2011 until 1st March 2011 in Casa da Horta.
The exhibition features a selection of 14 works which separates and mix what four students and Brazilian artists discovered and lived in a period of one year studing at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Porto. In that one year has added up to some studies also travels and adventures around Europe and experience of living in the same house, sharing learnings and influencing each other.
The four students, artists,friends and housemates are:

Igor Dantas, Felipe Eugenio aka Feu, Henrique Albuquerque and Rafa Eleuterio. "

This is the text written in the small catalog of the Collective !EF´s exhibition, the opening date will be on 15th of this month.
As said up there I am part of this collective \ o / and I made this post to show you a little of what we did here and what will have on the Casa da Horta.

Algumas pessoas tem me perguntado sobre um aplicativo que gostei muito de conhecer, que é o Instagr.am!

É um aplicativo para Iphone e Ipod, que oferece uns filtros bem legais para as fotos que você tira ali na hora e já manda direto para seu twitter, facebook, tumblr e outras redes virtuais.

Você também pode até pegar fotografias no seu computador, passar para o aplicativo e publicar de lá, mas o que mais me atrai neste aplicativo é o a possibilidade de fotografar, editar e postar tudo em segundinhos.

Some people have been asking me about an application that I liked very much: Instagr.am!

It is an application for iPhone and iPod, which offers some cool filters for your photos. You can take pictures and send it straight to twitter, facebook,tumblr and other virtual networks.

You can also take other photos, taked with another camera, go to the application and publish it here, but what attracts me most in this application is the the possibility to shoot, edit and post everything in one second.

THE IMPOSSIBLE PROJECT

"PRODUCING NEW INSTANT FILM MATERIALS FOR CLASSIC POLAROID CAMERAS"

Umas da coisas que mais curtir conhecer durante a minha estadia longe de casa foi esse projeto.

É um projeto que produz filmes para nossas empoeiradas, amadas e lindas Polaroids.

A minha eu comprei em Londres - PortoBello Market - . É uma Sx-70.. então os filmes são bem difíceis de encontrar por aí. Comprei alguns por Londres mesmo e outros pedi por esse site. Chegou tudo certinho e lindinho. É verdade que houve uma pequena grande polêmica, alguns filmes estavam sumindo as imagens muito rapidamente, ou fazendo surgir manchas... É um risco que se corre, mas pelo menos pra mim valeu muito a pena, perdi duas caixas, mas fotografei várias outras. Rodar a Europa com pessoas que eu amo e uma Polaroid do lado não teve preço. Depois as fotografias que fiz participaram de uma exposição no Palacete Viscondes de Balsemão aqui no Porto.

O Projeto vende filmes em quase todos os fomatos, vez ou outra vendem também edições especiais de Polaroids. Além da parte comercial promovem exposições e apoiam outros projetos.

"PRODUCING NEW INSTANT FILM MATERIALS FOR CLASSIC POLAROID CAMERAS"

One of the things I enjoyed most during my stay away from home was this project.

It is a project that produces films for our dusty, loved and beautiful Polaroids.

I bought mine in London - Portobello Market -. It's an SX-70 .. the films are hard to find... I bought some in London as well and others i ordered by that site. Everything arrived just fine and great. It is true that there was a great little controversy, some films were fading images very quickly, or having another kind of problems... It is a chance you take, but at least for me it was great! Even losing two boxes, I photographed several others. Travel around to Europe with people that I love and a Polaroid it was perfect. The photographs that I took made part of an exhibition at the Palace of the Viscounts Balsemão here in Porto.

The project sells movies in almost every fomat, occasionally also sells special editions of Polaroids. Besides the commercial, the promote exhibitions and support other projects.

The Impossible Project won me over. ;)
